Christian Siriano

 

Christian Siriano is an American fashion designer. He was the winner of the fourth season of the American TV show " Project Runaway" . I only paid attention to this talented designer, after viewing photos of New York Fashion Week (NYFW) 2013. His Spring/Summer 2013 Collection is amazing. This collection reflects a "dream ballet". It embodies how a ballerina goes off to practice. The hair-do and make up are so simple yet nice. The hair was tasseled into lovely buns. The make had a natural finish that is legere as a ballerina's dance ! The colors he selected for this collection breathes the bloom of spring and the youth of summer. 

 

What I liked most about this collection are the shoes. He is a master of creativity. The designs of the shoes complements with the dream ballet he created on the runway stage. They are crystallized and some had a half naked heels combined with golden lines on the bottom. In addition, he choose pastel colors like : baby pink and baby blue. In addition, he cleverly combined the trend of hologram together with crystals. I totally loved the details. I could not resist ordering the shoes for me and my sisters.  Although I missed  my sizing in the silver crystalized sling backs. As those shoes are limited. That is, they are shoes created for the runway show only.

 

I am crossing my fingers to get my sizes from his fall 2013 collection. This collection is inspired by the Russian glamour. The main colors of this collection is gold and black. It contains hand-beaded embellished dresses.It will be released before the end of this year. I will leave you with the pics. Enjoy

Two weeks ago, I went with my sisters to pamper ourselves in Guerlan Spa.  According to the beauty specialists in Guerlain Spa, “every treatment is transformed into a unique and personal occasion, a moment created especially for you – this is the essence of the Guerlain experience, the perfect union of effective know-how and aesthetic expertise”. I adored the Guerlain perfume gallery. There, you can purchase your favorite Guerlain perfume.

KawKawii  Blog

 

 

 

I consider this blogger one of the pioneer bloggers in Qatar.  Together with  Mrs His  Lastname blog, Kawkawii blog covers every event happening in Qatar. Besides, Kawkawii blog is really detailed and informative, and categorized. It covers a variety of fields, such as ; makeup, comedy shows, etc.

 

What makes this blog unique and special, is that it is the first Qatari blog that displays an online directory of other  Qatari blogs. I hope one day my blog will make its place with them :)

First, I need to admit I adore the selected name for this blog :) I have been reading this blog from day one of its birth. I love how the blogger, Khawla reviews current events in Qatar. I actually, rely on her besides another blog, which I  blogged about here in knowing events rocking Qatar.

 

In addition, I like her posts about travelling. Moreover, I like her posts about her outfits  and fashion styles of her family and friends.  I appreciate her support to designers and fashion talents in the region. Finally, She is a certified stylist. Hope one day she becomes a fashion ambassador of a grand brand.

 

In a nutshell, promising bloggers like Khawla will shine in Qatar, as Qatar always and forever deserves the best.

Parabel Gurung for Target

 

I was really waiting for this collaboration. Parabel Gurung designs are marvelous. His prints, and cuts are beyond creativity. I would not brag if I said that I nearly had sleepless nights waiting for this collection to be released.

Finally, on 10^th Feb 2013, Target released this collection. My two sisters and I ordered the full collection except the jewelry part. The colors were really melanged perfectly.

 

My most favorite piece of the collection were the digitally rose printed blazer and the sky blue leather jacket. Needless to mention, the quality is perfect! The collection was sold out quickly.

Get your abaya Bedazzled

 

The abaya underneath grabbed my attention the first time I saw it. When I looked up the name of its designer in Latifa Al Shamsi’sblog, I found out that it was Bedazzled. Later, I found out that they were two sisters- Fatima, and Shaima.

I promised myself that I would make the same abaya when these two designers  reached Doha in the last international fair. However, I could not make it. As I was recuperating from a surgery L. I was really happy, when both of these two sweet sisters agreed that I would blog about their abaya line and kidswear boutique. Their leading philosphy lays in doing what they excel at and enjoy besides sharing  it with the rest of the fashion-conscious community in the region.

Bedazzled Abaya was born after many years of designing as a hobby and necessity derived from a desire to be unique. Fatima, and Shaima  have always been into fashion. They have always designed their own abayas. When a new piece is being  created they would  always ask themselves " will I wear that" if the answer is yes then they know they are on the right track. decided to establish it as a business in 2010 . It has flourished from there and bloomed into a “Beddazled Boutique”.

According to Fatima and Shaima,  abayas are unique in a way that they are versatile. Bedazzled abayas can be worn for day and can be carried on into the night sophisticatedly.Needless to say, Bedazzled abayas carry a hand-embroidered to perfection wedding abaya line. Such line features sheer abayas like tulle, chiffon and organza materials ideal for a perfect evening. Their next collection will be the Eid collection . It will be released by the end of April/beginning of May. Here are some of their elegant designs:

Being moms themselves who enjoy shopping for their children , Fatima and Shaima noticed that there was a lack of elegant, funky, high quality childrenwear regionwide. Hence, they  saw their opportunity to establish a bedazzled petite boutique. The boutique was opened in 2012.

The common factor linking their abaya and petite lines lays in the fact that they both appeal to the unique fashionista woman and children. These two boutiques reflect these unique two sisters. They carry what they and our children would be seen in

 Bedazzled abayas and petite are aiming to emboss their mark internationally. Soon, their abayas will soon be stocked in Jolamode boutique in Qatar. So ladies stay in tune and mark your calendars for this forthcoming event !

Last Friday, I spotted beauties in two of my favorite shops- Zara and Gap. In Zara, I found these lovely clutches. In Gap, I adored their collaboration with Peter Rabbit. I will leave you with photos:

JW Anderson collaboration with Topshop

While I was passing by Topshop in Villagio , I noticed that they released the second collaboration between them and JW Anderson. Unfortunately, they did not receive the full collection especially the white and black sunglasses :(. Hopefully, they would receive extra items in the following next few days. I forgot to mention that this collection is so cool, For some reason, it reminded me of school days ! I will leave you with some photos of my selections. Thanks for my sisters for their help.

Simple look for work

Today I wore for work these georgeous Zara heels. I first spotted them on one of my favorite fashion blogs. It is Fashionmania.  I like how she composes a fashonista perfect and flawless look. In addition,  I like the fact how she brings the luxury item and its another twin from another high street brand. My bag for work today was Hermes Toolbox. I will leave you with photos

Inglot O2M

 

Inglot,  has released a new "breathable" nail polish. This new Muslim-friendly nail enamel would allow water vapors pass through the nail. This new technique would allow Muslim women to wash regularly for prayer "pre-prayer Wazu" without the need to remove nail polish

 

Of course, I had to run to get them from Inglot store. The salespersons were really friendly. The price of the nail polish is reasonable.It is sold for 60 QR. The colors are amazing. I will leave you with the photos taken by my sister
