Designing my own abayas

I have thought of designing my own abayas long time ago. As I would either find the fabrics and finishing not up to my taste or I would not find the design I want at a reasonbale price. I have went to local and GCC designers' showrooms. Yet, I would buy an expensive abaya that I will wear for several times . Eventually, it will be sent to retirement after couple times of being worn.

Yesterday, I went to the fabric market to buy some fabrics for my "designed-by-me abayas". Hope everything works out so well. Fingers crossed.
