Making the Impossible Possible

I have always had this dream of completing my higher studies and getting a Master degree. Given the fact I an a mother of five kids, I thought that I would pass this dream to my kids. At least if I did not make it, one of them would. I denied many golden chances so that I would be close to them like my mom. I did not want them to feel alone or missing me while being engaged in any of the responsibilities accompanying such uncomparable positions. However, the spark for education was still flickering. I did my best in educating myself . I took online courses, which I paid for them. I kept following up with the news of any official approval of distance learning Masters program in Qatar. Nothing was there. Suddenly, I felt an urge to take one of the Masters programs offered  by Qatar Foundation  in the educational city. I enrolled in QFIS Master in Public Policy in Islam program. I used to bring my materials with me to the office to study. It was a great challenge being a Mom for 4 kids under the age of six, an employee, and a student! In addition, I took one semester off to give birth to the fifth kid! I remember times when I would call my mom and tell her I would quit the whole program, as I cannot manage between family, study, job, and aspiring my dreams. Yet, the image of walking the stage on my graduation convocation kept haunting me. And here I am, a graduate of Class 2012 of QFIS. On the convocation occasion, held on the 8th May 2012, I walked the stage, and stood next to my graduate mates. I cannot forget the screaming shouts of my daughter. On that day, Josh Spear, an American entrepreneur and a founding partner and Chairman at Undercurrent, gave the commencement speech, in which he gave this advice. Such advice i will cherish all my life and I will transfer it to my kids. The advice is as follows " do what you love and the rest will follow;
 " Not to ignore your dreams,  learn to work with them find where those dreams come from and recreate those experiences you go back to and dream part as your daily routine truly never underestimate your imagination..."

I will leave you with photos of that day :
